Sharing Sex Work:

India and Australia

We are very excited to announce our very first digital event! For this event we are teaming up with National Network of Sex Workers (NNSW) based in India to bring you this panel discussion and story sharing event. This event will be available in English, Tamizh, Hindi and Telugu.

During Sharing Sex Work, sex workers based in India and Australia will come together to share art, stories and their views and experiences with sex work. Each panel member will share a piece of art and discuss why it is important to them, how it represents them and what it says about their experiences as a sex worker. After everyone has shared, the event will move to more of a panel discussion where the panel will be asked questions about telling stories and sharing art as sex workers. The event will end with an open forum from NNSW sex workers (who were not on the main panel) who will discuss their experiences and their thoughts about how we can become more connected as a global community.

Please keep in mind that the panel may not be as fast paced as other panels because it will be translated into multiple languages.

All profits from this event will be donated to NNSW who will distribute funds to sex workers in India affected by COVID-19.
